First Bite is back! The event at the Mercedes Benz of Bonita Springsoffers a way to taste what dozens of local restaurants will be featuring for the upcoming restaurant week. This year’s event will also benefit the Humane Society Naple s and Gulf Coast Humane Society.

From the Cornerstone kitchen at the FOX 4 studio, Chef Asif from 21 Spices in Naples shows how he prepares his pickled spice whole bronzini.

He says “This fish is very popular in southern India and the coastal areas. It has amazing spices, which are cumin, mustard curry powder and great flavors in it.” The rest of the dish has coconut curry on the bottom, with grilled asparagus and sauteed spinach.
